Dear Friends and Family,

For years I was one of those guys who walked around with the attitude of “Breast cancer only affects women and other people’s families.” That was until it touched the life of a close friend when his wife was diagnosed last year. Like most people they know, I did what I could to support them and help.

Little did I know that in a few short months it would hit closer to home, when the woman I love was diagnosed with it. Now I was scared. And scared in a way that I hadn’t felt before, even in combat. This was an enemy that I couldn’t fight toe-to-toe. One that robs people of their lives from the inside. We went on to fight with what we had and now she is a cancer survivor.

She had been deeply involved with the 3-day/60 mile walk for a few years and I have supported her for a couple of years now. However, this year I decided to step up and do more. I joined Men With Heart and am asking for your support.

Please help me in raising money to fight breast cancer…
