Paul’s Breast Cancer 3-Day Page

Dear Friends and Family,

Paul DoucetteFor the fourth time I am again putting on my yellow Men With Heart shirt and taking to the streets for three days and 60 miles. In past breast cancer walks I have experienced 100+ degrees, snow and hail, rain, and blisters like you can’t imagine. But I have met many breast cancer survivors and the challenges that I have experienced are nothing compared to what they have endured. As I have been actively involved in MWH since 2002 I am often asked who I walk for. The fact is my grandmother had breast cancer and survived but no one else that I am close to has experienced it. Thank god! My answer is that I help to raise money and awareness through MWH and the 3-Day for ALL of the women in my life. I champion this cause because no mom and dad should have to lose their daughter, and no children should go without their mother, and no husband should have to watch as breast cancer takes his companion.

The truth is that too many of us know someone who has or has been affected by breast cancer. I would love for you to walk with me. It is a labor of love. But in the event that you cannot walk with us your generous donation would be greatly appreciated. Honestly, I know that it’s been a financially troubling year. But please, do what you can to help us make a difference in this fight. Understand that this fight is personal. It affects us all. Thank you so much for your donation, your love, and your support. Let’s do this together!
