Men With Heart was formed in 2001 by Paul Boulanger. Visit our history page for more info.
2) What do you guys do?
Men With Heart is a group of men committed to fighting breast cancer. We participate in a variety of events to raise funds for breast cancer treatment, prevention, support, and awareness. We award grants to a number of cancer groups each year, ranging from grassroot organizations to major medical research centers.

Woman are welcome to join us as supporters of our organization; can participate in all our events; and can raise funds for the cause. Please contact us for more information.
4) Does it cost anything to join?
MWH is an all-volunteer organization. There are no fees to join, but there are costs that occur throughout the year, including fund-raising expenses (stamps, envelopes, etc.); mandatory walk clothing (t-shirts); optional other gear (poncho, fleece); and other minor costs.

You can donate to Men With Heart by making a credit card pledge or by sending us a check.

7) Is MWH just in Boston?
Although our members come from all over the country, we currently concentrate our efforts in the Boston area.
8 ) Can I start my own team?
We have often been asked by walkers if they can establish a Men With Heart team in other cities. However, due to liability, legal, and reputational issues, we have resisted these requests thus far. But if you are really keen on starting a team, let’s chat!
9) What do you do with the money you raise?
The money raised is distributed to a number of breast cancer organizations, including the Avon Foundation, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and other groups. See our “Grants Awarded†page for more details.
11) Do I have to be a good singer?
If you have ever walked in a breast cancer walk and heard us sing, you would already know the answer to that question! Click here for a demonstration of our off-key singing!
