Scott Walters
Scott’s Breast Cancer Page
Hello Friend,
In 2011, I will be walking in my 14th breast cancer walk as the captain of the Men With Heart team (www.menwithheart.org).
I walk in honor of my mother, Jo Ann Walters, a 16-year breast cancer survivor. This year’s team for the Komen walk will have 21 men walking to close out what has been a stellar year. I’ve got to admit, between having a baby and moving to a new home in April, this walk has snuck up on me. I am writing to ask for your help in reaching my fund raising goals for the walk.
As you may know, I spend a great deal of time coordinating many efforts for this all-volunteer, New-England based charity. Men With Heart is an organization of motivated men dedicated to eradicating breast cancer by raising awareness and funding for research and other initiatives. I am proud to say that our team is celebrating our 10th consecutive year walking in the Boston Avon and Komen walks. What’s even more amazing is that with your help we will pass the $1 million mark in 2011. It’s an amazing achievement for a small group of volunteers.
With your support we can continue to fight against this terrible disease and one day bring a cure to the world. The easiest way to contribute is to click the button below and donate via my secure PayPal link. Any level of donation helps and is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Scott
